Chloe Briggs, England / France

Paris-based artist and educator, Chloe Briggs, is a Chair of Foundation, and since 2016 Assistant on the MA/MFA Drawing and Drawing Instructor in the Foundation and Fine Arts Program  at Paris College of Art. In 2013 she created ‘Drawing is Free’, to offer people of all ages and backgrounds opportunities to draw together. From 2014 – 2018 she collaborated with Central Saint Martins, UAL Foundation Course on student projects sponsored by Eurostar, a publication on this work supported by Creative Unions was published September 2018. She regularly contributes to and organizes conferences about art education, most recently: ‘Drawing as Education, Exhibition, and Engagement, organized by Drawing North East, Newcastle, UK; ‘The Embodied Experience of Drawing’ Symposium, Ocean Studios, Plymouth, April 2018.

She completed BA (1998) Fine Art Painting, Winchester School of Art; MA (2002) Fine Art Drawing, Wimbledon School of Art; Graduate Certificate (2006) and Postgraduate Certificate (2007) in Learning and Teaching in Art and Design, University of the Arts, London.

Chloe has been external critic at  L’atelier de Dessin à L’Académie des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Tournai, 2017 and Master Education in Arts, Piet Zwart Institute, Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam University, 2016
