Our host partner for the residency in Paris is FIAP Jean Monnet, an International Residence Center located in the heart of Montparnasse. Founded after the Second World War with the purpose of reviving Europe and fighting against all forms of discrimination, its mission today is to encourage encounters and cultural exchanges between people from all over the world.
The FIAP provides a welcoming international atmosphere with recently renovated rooms and spaces designed for your comfort.
We offer options of private, semi-private and shared rooms for up to 4 resident artists. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink (double set for a four-people room). Rooms are cleaned every day, sheets and towels are provided. There is a number of rooms equipped for people with reduced mobility.
Meals and Other Amenities
In addition to accommodation, FIAP offers two restaurants and a bar area, where resident artists will enjoy their half-board meals, including buffet breakfast and either lunch or dinner of traditional french cuisine.
FIAP also provides plenty of common areas, an outdoor terrace and garden, laundry facilities and meeting rooms where you can work, meet and relax in peace.
Resident artists are invited to attend a variety of cultural and educational activities at FIAP, such as exhibitions and concerts, all designed to promote intercultural encounters.
Specially for our resident artists, FIAP offers a work space, which artists can use when they are not busy exploring Paris and host an Open Studio event at the end of the residency. For more details about the work space, see Atelier Studios page.
