Anne Lécharny, France

Anne Lécharny is an art historian at the beginning of her career, specializing in artistic heritage and preventive conservation.

She holds a bachelor's degree in art history from Sorbonne Université and has completed her first year of a master's program, writing a thesis on the catalogue raisonné of the Florentine painter Francesco Curradi and his role in religious painting during the Counter-Reformation of the 16th and 17th centuries. Her academic journey took her from Paris to Copenhagen as part of an Erasmus exchange, then to Rome for a year of research at Sapienza Università di Roma, where she deepened her studies in the conservation and restoration of works of art. She has also gained practical experience through an internship in cultural mediation at the Musée des Années 30, a position at the Petit Palais, and volunteer work at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Anne joined L'AiR Arts to help preserve Atelier 11 — the last remaining active studio at Cité Falguière and a living part of Montparnasse's artistic heritage. She helps support the residency program, assists with event coordination, contributes to historical and artistic research on the Cité Falguière, and helps establish partnerships that keep this venue running. She aspires to a career in preventive conservation and collections management, and sees this project as a significant first step toward that goal.
