Aurore Sevin, France
Aurore Sevin is a young professional specialising in art and architecture history.
After studying literature, history, and art history for two years in a preparatory class at the École des Chartes, she joined the École du Louvre to devote herself entirely to art history. She specialised in the history of Western architecture, with a particular emphasis on modern and contemporary styles and monuments. Her dissertation explored a villa built for an industrialist family in the Lyon region, which blends early 20th-century modernist architecture with neo-Pompeian influences. As part of her studies, she interned at various institutions, including the Musée des Monuments français and the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie. Finally, she completed an Erasmus semester at the College of Art, University of Edinburgh. Aurore joined L’AiR Arts to reconcile her interest in art history and historic monuments by exploring the life and work of artist residents while contributing to the project to save and restore Atelier 11. She plans to continue her career in the development and preservation of architectural heritage. |
