Margaux Knight, France / Spain
Margaux Knight is an independent curator with a background in social sciences and Latin American studies. Her projects are enriched by this reflective and critical experience of displacement, the decentering of perspective, and feminist and decolonial epistemologies of situated knowledge.
She has worked in various cultural institutions in Mexico (MUAC, Centro de la Imagen) and in France, in the curatorial team of the Fondation Cartier (Graciela Iturbide and Fabrice Hyber exhibitions) and at the Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap). Recently, she curated the exhibitions Malas Hierbas at the Casabanchel cultural center alongside ARCO in Madrid, and radicar raði’kaɾ on the Latin American art scene at POUSH (Aubervilliers). During her residency at Atelier 11, Margaux is co-curating a group exhibition with Eladio Aguilera that will open on September 20th as part of the 2024 European Heritage Days with this year’s theme "Heritage of Routes, Networks, and Connections". |
