Curated Residency Program
Spring 2026

Each academic semester, L’AiR Arts hosts a curated group program bringing together artists and cultural professionals from all over the world. This spring, we continue our commitment to celebrating the incredible legacy of the École de Paris, particularly the contributions of women artists, while exploring the artistic heritage and vibrant contemporary scene of Paris.

Join us for the culminating Open Studio event at Atelier 11 for the opportunity to experience Cité Falguière's living heritage, meet our international cohort, and engage with each resident's art practice.

L'AiR Arts Curated Residency Program

Structured as a forum within the L'AiR Arts curated residency program, this immersive two-week residency facilitates group exploration and creative exchange, set against the backdrop of Paris’s vibrant history and contemporary artistic scene.

With a focus on highlighting the artistic practices during the height of the École de Paris, the program offers access to historic locations, sites of research and professional exchange sessions. Participants have the opportunity to learn more about the inclusive history of the École de Paris, while developing lasting connections with fellow residents, expanding their international creative network and presenting their work to a broader community.

Falling within the duration of the residency are various international art fairs, along with numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, making this an especially exciting, vibrant and culturally rich time to experience Paris. The focus of the program ties into these events, to ensure programming which maximises the opportunities and engagement relevant to the activities within the local arts scene.

In keeping with the legacy of Cité Falguière as a safe haven during the tumultuous 20th century, L’AiR Arts is pleased to offer scholarships to selected candidates from less economically developed countries (the OECD’s ODA list), as well as to artists at risk and in exile.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our artists, local program co-hosts, institutional partners and supporters for upholding the welcoming spirit of the École de Paris and advancing international solidarity through cross-cultural dialogue and exchange.
