Art Program for Children & Youth
As part of international arts residency program with artists and cultural professionals, L'AiR Arts Association collaborates with schools, universities and other organizations interested in providing intercultural exchange opportunities for children and youth.
In dialogue with rich history of Atelier 11 Cité Falguière as a safe haven for artists from different parts of the world, our programs aim to immerse children in an inclusive multicultural environment. As arts defy language and nationality, children can connect with their own heritage and learn about other cultures. Such cross-cultural exchange opportunities through the arts promote international dialogue and understanding, while also addressing the issues of bullying, racism and exclusion. Arts also plays a vital part in helping children in coping with stress, while strengthening their mental health and improving overall well-being.
If you wish. to organize a school visit or an engagement opportunity (such as studio visit, art discussion, or workshop, etc.) at Atelier 11 Cité Falguière, please contact us.

Magical Creatures Workshop
Proposed and led by Véronique Devoldère in partnership with Paris College of Art
Duration: 2 - 3 hours max (15h - 17/18h)
Address: Atelier 11 Cité Falguière, 75015 Paris, metro Pasteur
Organized as part of the Atelier 11 for Solidarity initiative for children from conflict-affected areas, this workshop is inspired by the so-called "beast series', a collection of centaur-like creatures by the Ukranian artist Maria Prymachenko. Despite their surrealism with charming, childlike features, some of Prymachenko's beasts came into existence in response to historical and political events experienced by the artist, including the First and the Second World Wars.
