Application Process
The L'AiR Arts program is open to artists and cultural professionals of all nationalities, disciplines, and at any stage of their professional careers.
Applications for all residency programs are accepted on an ongoing basis with two main review periods—after April 30th and October 31st. Submissions are reviewed by a committee of international and Paris-based arts professionals. Residencies are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year, upon examination of each application and within the limits of available places in the designated program.

Due to high demand and limited capacity, we are unable to respond to all applicants or provide individual feedback or meetings. Only selected candidates will receive an invitation letter with detailed information, including the specific dates and conditions of their residency.
Since our funded and subsidized residencies are limited, invitation letters can be used to seek further support from funding agencies and other sources. For more information, please see the Funding page.
We also encourage applications from candidates who have already secured support from other institutions. For organizations wishing to nominate and support their candidates, please consider our Partner Residency program.
