Eric Taylor, United States
Eric Lawrence Taylor is an Actor / Director and graduate of Fordham University. Since then he has performed at La Mama, Abrons Art Center and the University Settlement. His work spans from movement, and spoken word to music and film.
He has founded an Anti-Capitalist Black Film Collective and is currently developing his piece “A Case Against Peaceful Protest.” His work has long explored cultural taboos around Blackness and seeks to uplift its communities into a start of not only self-actualization be transformation. He has collaborated with Afro-centric artists based in South Africa, U.K and Ecuador in exploration of this goal. He has also received the a fellowship at the Hemispheric Institute and the Denzel Washington Endowed Scholarship. |
