Inter-format Symposium & Artist Benefit Dinner
January 2020, Paris
The year 2020 marks the centenary of one of the world’s most prolific periods of intercultural and artistic exchange - Les Années Folles, or the Roaring Twenties. To commemorate this historical legacy, L’AiR Arts will host an Inter-format Symposium and Artist Benefit Dinner, presented as part of the Multidisciplinary Residency Program, dedicated to the centenary celebration of intercultural exchange through the arts.
Artists and cultural professionals from different parts of the world, working in a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines, will meet in the historic hub of intellectual and artistic life of the 1920s Paris - Montparnasse. The event will provide an opportunity to revisit the cosmopolitan spirit that allowed the arts community to thrive in the beginning of the 20th century and to support international dialogue today. Curated by the Paris-based artistic community, this inter-format symposium will offer a series of inclusive cultural events, including open studio, talks and showcases.
We invite you to join us and share experiences, ideas, and meals, celebrating together the intercultural artistic exchange as we move into the 20s of the 21st century!
