​Mahima Kapoor, New Delhi, India

Mahima Kapoor is a Painter and Printmaker from New Delhi, India. She perused her BFA from College of Art, New Delhi and recently got her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston, in 2D Fine art. She has been a part of artist residencies like Salem Art Works, NY and UCROSS Foundation, Wyoming USA.

​She works in direct contact with physical spaces around her to constantly transform the method of making. Exploration of light and the energy within a room and to respond to a vision provided by light through her paintings is critical to the work. “ In many ways I consider my process as content and believe that the experience of making of the work must no longer be separated from the experience of viewing of the work in the space that it is shown in.”
