​Sylvie Grenier, Ottawa, Canada

A graduate from the Ottawa Shool of Art, Sylvie Grenier is a painter. Her preferred medium is oil paint. Her work explores the boundaries between figuration and abstraction to create a space based on memories, somewhere between seeing and feeling. Her works are characterized by the simplicity of composition, strong colours, high contrasts and bold strokes.
 
Sylvie is an associate member of Galerie Old Chelsea, an art gallery run by ten artists in the Gatineau hills. She is from Ottawa, Canada. Her works have been the object of several solo exhibits and her paintings are part of numerous private collections.
