Lokhonia Scholarship for Ukranian Artists
This scholarship is open to a selected artist based in Ukraine interested in attending Art Research Residency in Paris.
The scholarship is offered by Dimitri Lokhonia, a Canadian businessman of Ukranian origin. Born in Sumy, Ukraine, he is the founder of Bloomex, Canada's largest floral company with operations in the United States and Australia. Mr. Lokhonia is proud to support Ukranian vibrant artistic community and invites Ukranian artists to find the inspiration in the art capital of the world and participate in the international artistic dialogue and professional development facilitated by L’AiR Arts residency program. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to showcase their work and share their culture with peers and audiences from around the world. Scholarship and Applications Details The amount of this scholarship is 1000 euro and is applicable to the program fees as part of the GIVE for ART program. Selected artist will be issued a letter of acceptance for further funding search through national and international funds. The applications from Ukrainian artists will be pre-screened by L'AiR Arts and the successful candidate will be selected by the committee. Deadline to apply for 2019 Art Research Residency is May 22. |
